Falling whirling tumbling twirling
Out of this castle in the sky
Lay siege to my heart, plunder its riches
And let the waves go by

I yell though we’re on the telephone
The fight I thought we laid to rest
It seems you’re a trio, you change so much
Always put my belief to the test

You hold the card to my heart, the key to my door
The fruit of my laborious love
And some day I wish our love was young
When it seemed like something from above

Okay, I did it. I'm strongly against joining clubs excessivly, but I found one I really liked, so I decided to join. That being said I'm a soon to be (hopefully) member of the Living Poets Society livingpoetsociety whos name originates from, I assume, The Dead Poets Society.... except we're not dead...
Anyway, this poem is my entry to their most recent compitition in which you had to write a 16 line poem that used the following words: card, telephone, castle, plunder, yell, fruit, belief, and trio. I'm pretty sure I used them all... yeah. It wasn't as easy as you might think...So wish me luck^^

^^ Very nice. I little shorter than what you usually write (whines because she wanted to read more) but lovely nonetheless.
:iconlosttoon:
well, it could only be 16 lines, per contest requirements, but I do usually write longer, lol
